She is currently working with Veterans and military families to help them reintegrate into the community after hospitalization She also volunteers as a Co Chaplain and Behavioral Health First Responder for a local Fire department. During her military service she was an NCO in the Army as a Medic, medical trainer and worked in many roles with convoys. She has been stationed from coast to coast as well as overseas. She is now a Disabled Veteran who understands all too well the price that is often paid to protect our country. Sunnie is a widow to a 39-year Army NCO. Between her and her husband they have eight children, ten grandchildren and one great grandson.

Sunnie has always valued service to others and is now honoring this with the Lord’s leading through the focus on Transformational psychology, Narrative psychology as well as Person centered modalites. She is available to see couples, and individuals from the age of eighteen up. She would obviously great with SMs, Vets and LEOs as she understands that journey first-hand. But she would also be great for family counseling, spiritual counseling and grief and loss work.

Your sessions may include a visit from Sheba Luna, who supported her husband at the end of his life. She seems to pop in just when a client needs it the most. As a rescue, she has her own attachment issues and needs cuddles just as much as she loves to give them.
